About LaSalle

Bordering Windsor to the south along the Detroit River, LaSalle is one of the fastest-growing towns in Essex County, growing more than 8% between 2016 and 2021. It is one of the oldest French settlement areas in southwestern Ontario and today is a sought-after spot for families and newer homes.

Living here

LaSalle offers modern subdivisions, river views and a busy recreation scene. The Vollmer Complex has two arenas, an Olympic-size pool and sports fields, and about 40 km of paved trails link to Windsor’s riverfront trail. The town is investing in its waterfront with the LaSalle Landing project.
